31 weeks.

This week Dawson hopefully is measuring over 16 inches long and weighs around 3.3 lbs.  Like carrying four navel oranges.  I am anxious for our appointment next week when we have our growth scan to make sure she's growing on track.  I'll definitely keep you all posted on that.  She's a mover and a shaker that's for sure - no matter what size she is.  I have been feeling her move around all morning.  I think partly because I am hungry.  My breakfast bar didn't tide her over apparently.
This past weekend Dawson attended her first professional baseball game (in my tummy of course).  It was so much fun.  We were in St. Louis celebrating grandmother Edith's 90th birthday.  I picked up Dawson a souvenir.
I feel pretty lucky.  I've been feeling good!  Not too many growing pains or back pains.  I find it's been getting harder and harder to get up out of bed in the middle of the night for my frequent bathroom breaks.  I now have to roll off the bed, as sitting up and leaning can be a little difficult :)  I love feeling Dawson kick although sometimes she catches me off guard and I jump a little!  Those jabs can definitely come as a surprise as you are sitting in a meeting or watching TV and not expecting them.

I still have yet to really buy any maternity clothes at this point.  I have bought a just a few dresses a couple of sizes up - but other than that, all of the maxi's and everything I have been wearing are my regular size.  Again - thank you summer pregnancy and making it easy to dress!  The tanks I have been wearing (like the one pictured above) are the Old Navy long ribbed tanks.  I just bought some in a large so they are long enough.  The jeans are the J Brand a friend loaned me.  They are so comfy!

Here are a couple of other pics from our little weekend trip.  We were SO SAD to leave Mr. Tank at camp Bow Wow - although they treat him wonderfully and we can see him on camera!  That makes it so much better.
Tank - the big white blob at the top of the camera.  Poor guy is not used to being around so many other pups!  He was exhausted and we saw him laying down a lot on camera.  You can always tell it's him because he sticks out that one back leg :)
We picked up Dawson a fun pair of "fancy shoes" in St. Louis!  She is a lucky girl - she has way better shoes than her momma does!  I just couldn't pass these up!
Jack, Grandmother Edith, Myself and her soon-to-be 6th great grandchild on her 90th birthday!
The Arch!  Gateway to the Mississippi!  Dress above from Target.
On Sunday when we got home and comfy Jack opened his Father's Day gifts.  Tank, Jack and Dawson now all have Broncos and Sooners gear for the upcoming season!  Happy Father's Day to the best Dad :)

  1. I'm having to roll out of bed these days too! I told John I'm no longer a fan of the platform bed. Bending over has also become a challenge among other things. =) You look great in that non maternity Banana dress! Prayers for you all and sweet Dawson.
