This week Dawson weighs around 2 1/2 lbs and is about the size of a butternut squash.
All in all I am still feeling great! I am having slight swelling in my feet and ankles if I am up for too long at a time. Plus this heat is making the swelling come as well. Dr. R said this is fine and completely normal. Last week I mentioned I took my Glucose test. I got a call back today and all is clear with my Glucose test, but my iron levels are a little low, so the doc wants me to start taking an iron supplement. She didn't sound too concerned. I went and bought the pills at lunch. Dawson is going to get Ironed up!!! She is still kicking a lot and definitely favors pushing on my right side. Jack and I have seen her "popping out" the most on this side. She moves a lot when he talks :)
The nursery is coming along! We had our chair delivered this week which I am SO EXCITED about because it was originally on back order until the end of July. I added to her closet last night as well. I won this adorable little number on Smocked Auctions:
Jack's birthday was a complete success! Tons of our friends showed up for the little happy hour I hosted and a group of people even stuck around for the Thunder game! Here is a pic of his cake which I just adored. My friend Sasha referred me to this lady and she did a wonderful job at capturing two of Jack's favorite things - Tank and Golf.

Before I go, I want to direct you to my friend Megan's blog. I purchased Dawson a little "Lovin' Cohen" Headband today! Please click on the link to read about the headbands and where the money will go. Such a great family and wonderful cause to get involved with or donate toward.
Here is the headband:
Also, one more request. I have a dear family friend who has fought pancreatic cancer. She is getting some test results back today. Please say a prayer that all is clear and she continues her road of recovery, health and happiness!
