30 Weeks.

Whew!  I'm behind!  For some reason this week I'm pretty busy at work - and yes, this is where I normally update my blog, so excuse me as it has been on the back burner the past couple of days.  We leave tomorrow for a little weekend vacation to St. Louis, it's Jack's grandmother's 90th birthday and we are going to a Cardinals game and having a birthday party!  It's sure to be a great time.  When we get back, I'll be 31 weeks!!!

So this week I am 30 weeks.  I've been feeling great, although last night was probably my worst night of sleep since I have been pregnant.  I was so uncomfortable!  My back and side were hurting.  I think I was just having some growing pains.  All is better this morning, of course - luckily I'm not too exhausted from my lack of sleep.  Dawson is now the size of a head of cabbage - almost 3 lbs.  I had a doctor's appointment this week and Dr. R scheduled a growth ultrasound for two weeks before my next appointment.  My stomach is measuring a little small, so she just wants to check and make sure Dawson is growing big in there!  She said it's nothing to be alarmed about and the measurements are probably off because she's sitting down so far in my pelvis.  Her heart rate was wonderful again and she's so low,  Dr. R even felt her head!!!  Sorry, probably TMI, but we are talking about pregnancy here - so really nothing is off limits :)
This week I also surprised Jack with an early Father's Day gift!  We went to Storkvision and had a 3D/4D ultrasound!  It was SO FUN being able to see our little cutie pie again on the screen.  I thought she looked a lot like her dad :).  The ultrasound tech even saw some hair sticking out!  Who knows how thick or not-so-thick it will be.  Jack was a baldy and I had hair but it wasn't super thick.  We shall see!  She was just absolutely adorable.  Cute chunky cheeks and she even open and closed her mouth while we were watching her.  We are already so obsessed.
