Twitter Pic
Jack just tweeted this pic. I'm in love. He was walking out of a store (he has remote start and leaves the car running and doors locked) and came out to find VelcroDog like this in the window! Tank has a little strawberry on his face from an encounter with a fence. I think it makes him look even sweeter.

Week 15
This week the baby is the size of an apple! I am 15 weeks and feeling great! I actually feel like my energy is coming back! Sorry I am a day late in posting this, we have a big announcement that I was waiting on before I could post (You will see below)! Jack and I are heading to New York this week to do a little shopping, eating and site seeing. How fitting, baby is the size of an apple the week we are hitting the Big Apple :)
Week: 15
Cravings: Cereal / Chicken Tenders
Clothing: My clothes are still fitting right now. Except for my jeans. Those are long gone. I am still wearing my work pants. I bought two new shirts this weekend in Dallas and they are super cute and NOT maternity. The good news is about being pregnant right now is the style is so fitting for a growing bump. The shirts I bought are cute and blouse-y from this little boutique "Milk and Honey". Great prices and some pretty cute cloths in there. I should be able to wear both of my new tops for awhile.
Pains: Still feeling the numbness behind my left thigh. Will be talking to the doc about it next week. I have googled and spoken with other mom's and it sounds like it's completely normal, so I'm not worried.
Sickness: I think it's gone!
Baby's Sex: It's a GIRL!!!!! We went to Storkvision last night. We really wanted to find out before our trip this week so we could buy him/her a few goodies! Now we know it's a HER! We are so thrilled and can't wait to start her nursery and buy her cute clothes.
Gadgets: My friend loaned me some great stuff this weekend. Nursing tops, her breast pump, and a breast friend (pillow thing that kind of holds the baby). I am so grateful!
Sleep: Still waking up A LOT to go to the restroom. I'm ready for a Saturday when I can lay in bed until after 9am :)
Names: We our going to name our little girl Dawson (which is my maiden name). We are still juggling around middle names for right now. Hopefully we will decide on one soon, because this mom loves monograms!
Things I have bought: The books I ordered came in! I love them both. We have also received a lot of goodies in the past week/two weeks! We are so lucky to have such thoughtful friends! Dawson is already so spoiled and she isn't even here yet!

Her first OU gear from Aunt Nicole! |
The Malchi's and their sweet Poodle Bo sent a wonderful ducky gift basket! |
Tank thought the rubber ducky in this gift was a toy for him. Poor guy :( |
Thanks Hutchison's for the ADORABLE Bully Onesie! You know our style! |
Hand crocheted sweater and hat from Bits and Tom! This came all the way from their cute beach town in Pentwater! |
The two books I ordered. I already read The Boy Who Cried Over Everything. Super cute and I am sure it will be a very helpful learning tool for Dawson as she enters the age of 3 and 4 :) |
We picked up Mr. Tank a new toy at PetsMart the other day, he can't be left out!
He loves FROGS!

A Nice Day For...
Sunbathing!
It's one of Tank's favorite things to do. Today is going to be another beautiful day! So happy we have had such a mild and nice winter. I am not complaining one bit! Isn't it funny how he finds the one patch of sun coming in the office?

Fat Tuesday!
I picked up one of these from Merritt's Bakery today! We are going to our friends annual Fat Tuesday party tonight. Jack found the baby in his cake last year, so being tradition, we're to bring the cake to the celebration this year!
I'm also making an easy corn dip to take to the party. I am buying my corn dip from a place up the street that makes it homemade, but the other option would be to make it yourself. HERE is an easy recipe. Then all you do is spread your corn dip in an oven safe dish, top with any cheese of your liking (I am using cheddar and pepper jack) and fresh crispy bacon pieces. Place in the oven on 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with Tortilla Chips!
I hope everyone has a safe and fun FAT Tuesday!

Week 14
Today baby is the size of a lemon, measuring 3 1/2 inches from head to bottom. I am officially 14 weeks and FINISHED with my first trimester. Now hopefully I will start feeling 100% and also get some of my long lost energy back! I have missed it :)
Week: 14
Cravings: Cereal
Clothing: My clothes are still fitting right now. Except for my jeans. Those are long gone. I am still wearing my work pants, but jeans are just too tight these days. I purchased a pair of Beyond Yoga tights and have been wearing them with boots all over town. I'm obsessed. They are so comfy, you can dress them up or down and they are NOT maternity, so I can wear them after baby comes as well.
Pains: Not that I would ever complain - AT ALL. I am so so happy to be pregnant again! But, I have been having a pain behind my left thigh. It's almost like a burning pulled muscle feeling. I get it about every 5 minutes and it lasts awhile. Very strange. I will be asking my doc about this next time I go in.
Sickness: It's pretty much tapering off. I still get in the mood where nothing sounds good every so often, but I am much better that I was early on.
Baby's Sex: I think we are having a little girl :) We should know for sure very soon!
Gadgets: I have heard the Nap Nanny is a MUST HAVE on any baby registry. Have you heard of any must have's lately? Anything anyone would like to suggest?
Sleep: I rarely get a good nights sleep! I am up using the potty at least twice a night and never really fall back into a good, deep sleep until it's time to wake up. But isn't that how it always works out? :)
Names: We have some names picked out for each sex. It's middle names where we are getting stumped!
Things I have bought: Not really much! I bought this toy at Target the other day, a little dog toy. But I only bought it because I thought it looked like a bulldog, of course. And I purchased two children's books last week on Amazon. The Boy Who Cried Over Everything and The Beginners Bible: Timeless Children's Stories. I read about The Boy Who Cried Over Everything HERE and just knew I needed to purchase it right then so I wouldn't forget about it. Then I bought the Beginners Bible just because I came across it and liked it stories and pictures for children.
I feel like my weeks are really moving along! Going much faster now that when I first found out (at 4 weeks!). I am excited for our next appointment in March!
Baby Judd received this super cute sleeper gown and blanket from Grammy for Valentine's Day:

He/She also attended their first concert last week! My baby is bound to love country music. Listening to George Strait live, in the womb:

Baby Stuff!
I had a talk with Tank. He said it would be okay if I devoted one day a week to the new baby on VelcroDog. How generous of him!
On Monday I will be 14 weeks, so each Monday I will blog about baby updates, how I'm feeling/growing, etc. It will also be a great way for me to look back and see everything Jack and I go through during this journey!
Speaking of my generous son Tank, I will leave you with a picture of the goodies he gave his coworkers for Valentine's Day this week.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend! It's going to be a relaxing one for us, as we we will out of town the following two weekends. Oh, we are going to New York in two weeks! Feel free to leave me a comment if you know of any places we must go or things we must do!

Snow Day!
We had a snow day this week. I had Jack record this video of Tank at work. Is it just me, or do all dogs love peeing in the snow? Haha! Tank loves sprinting around like a wild-man when there is snow on the ground. This weather is perfect Bulldog weather! Not too cold and definitely not hot.
There is one kind of weather Tank totally DISLIKES though, and that is rain. He doesn't like getting his pretty little paws soaked.

Wings
Jack loves Buffalo Wings. Me, not so much. He wanted to make a few on the grill for the Super Bowl (sidenote: Whole Foods was out of wings, so we just bought small drumsticks). He found THIS recipe and only changed it a little bit. Instead of Louisiana hot sauce, he used wing sauce and a few dashes of Chalula. He rotated them in and out of the sauce mixed and onto the grill for about 40-50 minutes. He said they were so good and so tender. It was also his first time to use this awesome Lodge pan my dad gave him for Christmas.
* Sidenote: Our plates aren't as yellow as they appear in a lot of the plate shots on my blog. They are more of a Dijon color instead of that bright mustard color in the first picture.

Tank and the Turtle
I'm always a step behind when it comes to technology - with that said, I can tell you all I just learned how to make a youtube account and upload my videos there. I'm so excited because now I can share my phone videos with you all!
My Dad sent this little turtle to our house the other day. We wound it up and set it on the floor to see what Tank would think about it. He wasn't too sure about his new little friend....

I'm Pregnant :)
It's nice saying that out loud!
Jack, Tank and I have been blessed with Baby #2! I am 12 weeks and 3 days along. We went to the doctor today and were able to see our little bundle on the big screen again! He/She is very active and moving all around. We are over the moon excited about what 2012 has in store for our family. Tank is thrilled about the news - Giving his mom and sister/brother extra love, cuddling with us each night on the couch.

Super Bowl Food!
Jack and I have been talking all week about what we are going to make for the Super Bowl. I think we settled on eating crock pot queso all day then having yummy hot dogs with chili and sauteed onions for the game that evening. Ya'll, I am craving a hot dog - and calories don't count on Super Bowl Sunday. Don't judge me :)
A few weeks back, I made THIS Taco Chicken Chili in the crock pot and it was so good (thank you for the suggestion, Sarah!). It's another great option for Super Bowl food. We served it in bowls with mashed tortilla chips and cheese over it. But my mother-in-law pointed out it would make a great dip! It is a thicker chili, so I think making it a dip is a wonderful idea! Just serve with Frito Scoops or Tortilla Chip Scoops! It would be a great addition to any Super Bowl Party or just a regular 'ol Sunday night at home in your PJ's.
