When is it okay to correct?

I always have trouble when it comes to this subject.  I am not much of a "corrector".  If someone calls me by the wrong name, I normally don't say anything and just let the moment breeze by.  Is it worse to correct someone in this situation knowing that you will embarrass them, or just to do nothing at all?  I always feel like there is such an awkwardness in the air during these times.

This has happened to me twice in the past few weeks.  First, one of my good friends mom's called my husband Jake (otherwise known as Jack) and I didn't say anything to correct her.  Now will she forever think his name is Jake?  Should I have spoken up?  Would it have made her feel bad?

Then today.... the most hilarious / awkward thing imaginable happened to me.  I was at Chili's meeting an old co-worker, Jaime,  for lunch and we are mid conversation - you know, just catching up.  This girl who was a waitress there yelled from like 20ft away "RENEE!!!!!"  My friend Jaime and I obviously stopped and turned to see what all of the commotion was about.  (And for any of you who don't know this, my middle name is Renee, which made it even more strange.)  As we turn around this girl starts quickly coming my way saying "OH MY GOSH HOW ARE YOU?  WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" (hugs me....) and I said "Oh, I am good, just having lunch with a friend" and she said "OH WELL YOU ARE JUST SO CUTE!  LET ME KNOW IF YOU GIRLS NEED ANYTHING!!!!!" She was so loud.  Side Note:  I don't like when anyone my age or younger than me calls me "Cute" or "Darling".  I think it is condescending......   She proceeds to walk off and Jaime is DYING laughing.  She said "who in the heck was that?"  I HAD NO IDEA!!!!  I told her I had never seen the girl before in my life!  Why did I do this?  She was hugging me and asking me how I was and I just went with it.  Like no big deal, I always go by Renee......

Once we left, I think she realized she had me confused with someone else because she didn't even tell me bye when we walked past her.  Even more uncomfortable.  She probably thought I was just some big phony who poses as different people during my lunch breaks.

So what do I do?  Do I start correcting people or continue going with the flow?  When is it okay or not okay to correct?

Hmmmm....

How does Tank always make the most comfy pallets?  Jack and I came back from getting dinner on Friday night to find this.

All Things Baby

I can't stop browsing the internet looking for baby things.  Nothing in particular, I think my excitement is just getting to me!  I mean I can't stop!  I have found a few cute things, but this one item stood out to me!  I think the concept is so wonderful and the product is totally cute!  You know each month your baby gets older, you take pics.  Some people sit their baby in the same place every month and snap a picture to email friends and family the babies growth!  Some mom's write down the month of age on a piece of paper and prop it up in front of baby..... I found these little doo-dads on etsy.com.  They are stickers you put on onesie's each month to show the age of the baby!  They are cheap and way cuter than writing 6 months, (3 months, 10 months.... you get the idea) on a piece of notebook paper.  They have girls stickers, boys stickers, all kinds!  And they cost around $13!!!  Cute, cheap, great photo ops.  Then you can just throw the stickers away after you have used them for your picture and you won't feel guilty about wasting money!
NECK TIE argyle monthly onesie stickers
I love the little Argyle Necktie boy stickers.  You can find them HERE on esty.
8 Days until our next doctor's appointment!  We can't wait to hear the little bean's heartbeat!

Something Borrowed

Have any of you ever read Something Borrowed?  Well, I own the book, but I haven't read it all.  I think I purchased it back in college and then just never finished it.  I do that a lot.  Purchase books, start reading and then never make it past Chapter 5.  I don't know why this is.... Maybe I just don't have the attention span to stay engaged in an entire book?  Who knows.  Anyway, they are coming out with a movie based on the book Something Borrowed.  I watched the trailer today and it looks pretty good!  Check it out below.  If your husband's / boyfriend's aren't up for a wonderful chick flick, I will definitely go see this with you :)

Bullies!

Jack sent me this little clip today.  Bulldogs make my heart melt.  Tank would definitely win the Westminster Kennel Club Bulldog Non-Sporting award!  Please take a few minutes and watch the video below.  I can't stop smiling.  Tank is so small compared to these guys!

Our Little Sooner Baby!

Okay, so you find out you are pregnant, what do you immediately want to do?  Buy stuff!!!  It is so hard during this time, because I don't know the sex of the baby, obviously, but I still want to buy things!  I decided I would only buy one article of clothing for Baby Judd until we find out if our bean is a boy or girl.  I could not pass up this cute little onesie!  Having a baby right in the middle of college football season is a dream come true for my husband (aside from the fact he will be missing OU/Texas this year) because he will have a new little partner to watch football with!  Boy or girl, our bean is bound to love OU and college football!

Too. Much. Snow.

We have always thought Velcro Dog was a little snow bunny.  He likes to run and jump around and fling snow from his back paws as he runs around the yard.  Not this week.  This week Tank does not like the snow.  There is just too much of it.  Although Tank is a small guy, he weighs 50lbs.  50lbs sinks into the snow.  Easily.  So our little guy drowns in snow unless his Dad shovels him a path.  He definitely does not like to be out long, instead, he likes to spend his lazy snow days on the couch, watching the snow from his favorite spot in front of the window.

I definitely think we are all getting a little cabin fever over here.  There is only so much food and so much vino you can drink in two days.  Enjoy our few snowy pictures!  Jack, Tank and I hope everyone reading this is staying warm!

Super Husband, has been shoveling for the past 2 days!
Tank checking out the snow.

On Tuesday we went to visit the Graham's.  Here is V3 playing with his trains.

Checking out some college recruiting information
