15 Week Appointment!
Baby Judd is growing strong! We went to our 15 week appointment today and everything looks wonderful! Baby's heartbeat was strong and fast and just beating so brightly on the screen! Dr. Ribaudo thinks she may know the gender, Jack and I aren't announcing anything until our appointment next month! We want to know FOR SURE before we start claiming Girl or Boy.....

16 Years
It's hard to believe that 16 years ago today, I was sitting in Mrs. Goldwire's room in the 6th grade. It seems like forever ago. As an adult now, my memories from my childhood have slowly started to fade away, but this day, April 19, 1995 is a day I will never forget.
I remember us all looking out the window and seeing a cloud of grey. Thinking a storm was about to roll in. Little did we know what was going on downtown. Two of my teachers lost husbands, daughter's and grandchildren in the blast. Friends lost family members. It was such a sad day..... and for what?
There are terrible people in this world, but I have learned you can't stop every bad thing from happening. You just have to love people and hope that they will show love in return.
Today I pray for the families who lost loved ones in the blast. This day never becomes easy. I pray for the firemen and police officers and EMT's who had to see the devastation first hand. I pray for the people who came out alive. Thank you God for all that you do and even through tragedy, bringing peace to us all.
I am so proud to be an Oklahoman.

You can't ever have too many....
Tank got a new collar this weekend. He absolutely LOVES collars, so I continue to purchase them. I found this one at a little dog boutique at the shops at Cherry Creek in Denver. He is getting a bath tonight and then will debut it tomorrow. Just another collar to add to his collection. How cute are the alligators?

April Happenings...
So, it is only the second full week of April and I have already done a ton of fun stuff! For starters, I took my sister to see Kenny Chesney for her 30th birthday. I think I have mentioned a time or two that I L.O.V.E. country music. My sister, Lindsay, shares the same excitement. Here we are at the concert a couple weeks ago.
Aunt Lindsay also brought along a onesie she bought for baby Judd
It reads I Love Kenny Chesney, Just Like My Aunt! |
This month also marked the 1st birthday of mine and Jack's God-daughter, Grace. Her Mom and Dad threw a wonderful pink and green themed party fit for a princess. Here is Grace and my best friend Nicole below.
Last but not least, we had a minor accident this month. VelcroDog was playing a little too hard and got his toenail stuck in a patio chair. He had to have his toenail removed today, but all is A-OK! His super cool green bandage comes off this evening and his nail will grow back like normal.
His trip home from the Vet. Could he be any cuter? |
A Fiesta!
A couple of weeks ago I helped to host a Fiesta wedding shower. I wanted to share some pictures to show everyone how cute this all turned out! Pretty easy stuff, too! All you really need is some tissue paper, regular colorful paper, photos, paint and a few sombreros / piñatas to make your party complete!

Quinny!
Did I mention we picked out a stroller? Yes, I am still early along in my pregnancy, but this girl is excited to start shopping away and it is hard not knowing the sex yet! So, I have been concentrating on the diaper bag (that I previously posted about) and the stroller! Here it is! I can't wait for it to come in. Should be here in a few weeks. We ordered from a local store, Dingbats. Cute little store on Cherry Street. And again, I chose all black. Nice for a boy or girl and won't have to change colors with baby #2!
